Lawyer from Universidad Javeriana, Master of Laws and International Tax Policy from Harvard University. Postgraduate courses in Accounting and Finance, American University.

Luz Marina was Executive Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá, Deputy Vicepresident of BBVA’s Banking Business, Granahorrar, and Vice President of Business Management at the Financiera Energética Nacional. She held important positions in the public sector, such as Secretary General of the Ministry of Finance and Legal Director of the General Treasury of the District of Bogotá.

In the private sector, she has served on the boards of Banco Popular, the power companies of Santander and Boyaca, Almagrario SA, and BBVA Horizonte Pensiones y Cesantías among others.

Extensive experience in electric and gas utilities where he participated in the valuation and privatization of the largest companies in the electricity sector (EEB, EPSA, CORELCA) and structured Compensation Fund subsidies for the energy and gas sectors.

Large networking within Colombian industry with experience creating business clusters in various sectors (ICTs, Textiles, Garments, Leather and Footwear, Electrical industry, tourism, etc.), and assembly of commercial showcases for various sectors.

Experience in project finance and syndicated loans, was in charge of structuring and placing a Rule 144A syndicated loan of USD $1 billion.

Great experience in debt restructuring processes with direct participation in processes for more than $ 400 billion Colombian pesos.
